The Mechanic is directly responsible for the preparation and build-up of race cars. The role will foresee activities in the workshop and abroad.

W Racing Team, known as Team WRT, is a professional autosport racing team, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Baudour, Belgium. It shall move to Liège, nearby the German border, on December 2024.
The team was created following the initiative of former racing driver Vincent Vosse and entrepreneur Yves Weerts. Today the team is run by the Co-CEO team Kathleen Schurmans and Vincent Vosse. Pascal Weerts is CEO of Weerts Group.

The team runs race programs in FIA World Endurance Championship, Fanatec GT, and Intercontinental GT Challenge. Through the years, the team has shown its versatility by winning a multitude of races and titles in various prestigious GT, prototype and, touring car championships all around the world. By end 2023 WRT proudly won 59 champion titles.
Apart from running various international race programs, WRT is also known as manufacturer through its subsidiary, WRT Manufacturing. WRT Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of roll cages, chassis reinforcement, and complete race car construction. From the Fun Cup to Stellantis Group, Hyundai Motorsport to Toyota Gazoo Racing, for the categories GT4; WRC2, WTCR, E-TCR, Historic and classic cars.
Thanks to the assembly department created at the end of 2019, WRT now manage everything from A to Z. WRT set up and developed an assembly line for GT4 race cars as well as a warehouse that is used as the main logistic centre to ship parts and support customers all over the world.
